Information we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and billing address so we can process, ship and support your order.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

If you join our email list, we collect your email address and store it with our database provider, Supabase. Emails are sent through our email provider, Resend.

Your shopping cart is saved in your own browser so it is still there when you come back. It is not sent to us until you check out.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

We use your information to fulfill and deliver your order, send order and shipping updates, handle refunds and replacements, answer your questions, and prevent fraud.

If you joined our email list, we send you news about new products and offers. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can email support@homewardgoods.com to be removed.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed to complete your order: with Stripe to process payment, with our fulfillment partner and shipping carriers to pack and deliver it, and with our hosting provider to run the website.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and customers.

Cookies and advertising

Our site uses your browser's local storage to remember your cart. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.

To improve the store, we record anonymous shopping events, such as which pages and products are viewed, items added to the cart, how far a page is scrolled and whether checkout was started or completed, along with your device type and country. These are tied only to a random ID that lasts for your browser session, not to your name, email or address, and are stored with our database provider, Supabase. No cookie is used for this.

We advertise on Google. Our site uses the Google Ads tag, which sets cookies and sends Google information such as the pages you visit, the products you view or add to your cart, the ad you clicked and, when you buy, the order total and an order reference, so we can measure which ads lead to purchases and show ads to past visitors. We do not send Google your name, email or address.

You can limit ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and do not load the Google Ads tag.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@homewardgoods.com. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

We keep order records for as long as needed for fulfillment, refunds, accounting and legal requirements.

Children

Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
